We went in on a Thursday and when we arrived it was not very pleasant, thanks to a girl/woman who was there from the afternoon to the night, who also helped us a lot when we took our baby to the hospital and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts. In general the hotel is excellent removing the mishaps below.
The entrance was not the best because they did not have the rooms ready and it was 15 pm, then we wanted to park two cars in the parking lot and only gave us one place because the others were occupied, which was my surprise when I went down my car to the parking lot there were cars, as we were informed by the girl at the reception very airy that it was because they were big cars, when a Lexus all-terrain vehicle was occupying only one place and one of the "big" cars that occupied two places was not bigger than mine, it was a Bmw series1.

The hotel is wonderful and clean, nestled in a nice building with particularly good view of the town. The location is marvellous, around 4-6 minutes away by foot from city center...

I was pleasantly surprised when they changed my room to a spacious and well-equipped one with an awesome view of the town, and the place is conveniently located near the city center.

We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays 2018 with a family of three (child 13 years). 4 times in Andorra, in this hotel for the first time. We booked in September on special offer, price was great! The hotel is more of a standard 4* . Location is excellent. in the center, bus stop is nearby, Rooms are large. two-bedroom, Bathroom and toilet are comfortable (toilet and bidet separated from the bathroom with a sliding door). During check-in we were asked about a bed and we ordered one double. bed is huge and very comfortable. There is a pillow menu! child slept in the living room on the sofa. hotel provides that every day at 20. 30-21. 00 comes the maid and takes apart the sofa (in the morning she collects it). For us it was not very convenient. we moved the sofa, moved it to the window and did not fold (it stood all the time decomposed), If you do not move the sofa. leave it as is, walk in the living room with the sofa is IMPOSSIBLE, room has everything you need (except bathrobes and hair conditioner)! the hair dryer is very old, I can not say anything about the sauna. not used, Breakfast is very decent. no hot dishes (omelette and boiled eggs cold), Maybe the hotel doesn't have its own kitchen. Otherwise the choice for breakfast is excellent: several types of sausages. delicious jamon, excellent cheeses, red fish, Different cakes every day. Baked goods and fruits (grapes. watermelon, melon, pineapple, citrus, apples, etc, are fresh. cozy. comfortable hotel, intelligent, cozy, comfortable, nothing extra, But. again, it's not 5*, After the trip. we usually ask ourselves the question: "Would you stay again in this hotel, " The answer is? "Yes, definitely, "!
Now for the drawbacks... Cleaning on a B-minus, bad floor cleaning and dusting... The staff doesn't speak English very well. Lack of hot dishes for breakfast (omelette and boiled eggs cold). No kettle in the room. Own ski bus expensive (11 euros one way per person to Funikip, by regular bus 1 euro 80 cents). No bathrobes, old hair dryer.

It's a great breakfast. Even if you are a vegetarian or observe a religious fast, you will not stay hungry! The hospitable staff. Very comfortable two-roomed rooms. Quiet. Excellent location. Parking.
Despite the hospitality of people at the reception, there is no understanding of how the 5* hotel staff does not even try to help you with your luggage. How can a hotel have a 5* and not have at least a small pool? And the most frustrating thing is room cleaning. The cleaners came in very late. They could have come after 16h. So you just got back from your skis, you need to take a shower, change, rest... And that's where the knock on the door - Room cleaning! That's sad.

For Europe, great breakfasts - all kinds of coffee, tea, juices, etc., omelets, fried bacon, stewed vegetables, sausages, cheeses, jamon, red fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, cereals, pastries, if anyone needs white wine. It's a lot and it's delicious. Nice and polite staff, speak English normally, always ready to help. We ordered pasta in the room, very tasty and huge portions. A big and comfortable bed in the bedroom, good pillows and bed. Good location - the center, near the Pyrenees shopping center. If I answered the question, I would come back here like a Five Star Hotel - definitely NO! Like a four-star hotel, if they put batteries in rooms and lower prices - YES. It's only breakfast for five.
Stayed at this hotel in late January, family of two adults and a child. If you choose the Five Stars Hotel, you are definitely NOT coming here! I'd give the hotel a B-minus!!! No bathrobes, no slippers either (asked - we were brought), terrible old hair dryer in the bathroom, does not work towel dryer, no curtain in the bathroom, in the whole room there is no battery, from the heating air conditioning, makes noise and blows barely warm air, bathroom barely warm floor (or rather one strip of warm). We checked into the hotel in the evening, there was a terrible wind in Andorra and -5 in the street, it was very cold in the room, child slept that night dressed... on the trail of the day it warmed up in the street and we tried to get air from the air conditioning, with grief in half turned out, room was normal temperature for the rest of 4 days. If you want to dry your shoes or gloves for example, you can't do it (nowhere). From an interior - furniture on three, is too old. We took a two-room room.

reception to the hotel is very good, receptionists in general very attentive and very friendly, cleaning staff and restaurant staff super friendly too.
I think that a 5* hotel should have a hair dryer without having to ask at the reception, it is important, much more there in that area and in the middle of winter, in the room there was one that not even for children served me, then I heard another client ask for one at the reception and I did not like it, I think that it should be, at least, the explicit option at the time of the reservation, then, a family room, big yes, but for the children sofa bed doesn't seem right either, for the price I think there should have been another bed for them, the restaurant pretty good, the food good, acceptable but I didn't think it was right that the drinks were part of the menu (22.50 euro without distinction of price between children and adults).

The location here is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute walk to Caldea, with plenty of shops and malls nearby.

The employees of the hotel were all very nice. The hotel is very central (middle of the shopping center) and they have a private/locked parking center under the hotel - this was key reason for us to stay here. We paid approx EUR 20 the parking but we knew that upfront - it was worth it for us because we had a fully packed car. Overal - the hotel is good if you do not expect the best.
The gym and spa ! A bit misleading. The hotel advertises with a gym and spa, but the gym was very poor. There was only one fitness machine (and 2 or 3 cardio machines) - and it was broken - the hotel tried to fix it with a screw. The spa was just a little hottub (cheap version - like you would buy for your kids in your garden). The hotel is classed as 5 stars, but also that is a bit misleading - floor in hotelroom was broken. Do not expect ultimate luxury. The location is their strenght. One more thing.... do not go to the pizzeria/tapas bar (someting with mamma in name) next to the hotel: They have very moody employees and they do not sell pizzas all day.
